Chris Pratt (Gordon-Levitt) had it all.  Star athlete, good looks, great friends and a mustang.  Too bad, he doesn't have much in the way of brains.

On prom night he decides to drive down a two lane highway with no headlights.  Only to crash into a stalled combine and kills two friends and seriously injures himself and his pretty girlfriend.  So 4 years later he has horrible brain damage, and can't even recognize a can opener.  He takes classes, that help his memory and learning abilities, and also lives with a blind man (Daniels) who helps with everyday things as well.  Until the sinister Gary (Goode) shows up and befriends him, using his girlfriend (Fisher) as bait.  Gary eventually smooth talks Chris into robbing the bank, he works for.

Great movie, with lots of indie drama.  Actually filmed in and around the Kansas and Missouri, KC metro area.  Its neat seeing local places, in films as good as this one, it makes you proud.  I really like Gordon-Levitt, he has very wide range, and is an extremely underrated actor.  Isla Fisher was good, but forgettable, and Goode was truly a terribly selfish character.  The story was original and well executed.  Rent it this weekend if you are a fan of drama.
