"Mr. Jones" is a very psychological movie, so if you don't like to think, stop now and move on to another review.

Sorry for my blunt observation, but this film is near and dear to my HEART, as most of it was filmed right here in my hometown of San Diego, some of it was done right up the street from me at First and Hawthorne, plus I am a big fan of both stars, Richard Gere and Lena Olin.

In short, "Mr. Jones" is the story about a chemically un-balanced man, who has a tendency to do and say, what most people would think are very odd things.  His behavior lands him in a mental hospital, where he is treated by Lena Olin's character.  They develop a relationship that becomes un-orthodox, at best, and the gripping story unfolds from there.  The cast is filled with many actors that have gone on to bigger roles, including Delroy Lindo, Bill Pullman and Taylor Negron. Mr. Jones has a date with a bank teller played by LISA MALKIEWICZ that is one of the best parts of the film. I give the musical score from this film FOUR STARS, as well.

For those of you that are true drama lovers, I am certain you will LOVE this movie and think of it often.
