The synopsis-based on a novel by James Elroy, set in the 1940's 2 cops' lee Blanchard (Aaron Elkhart) and bucky bleichert (Josh Hartnett) investigate a horrific murder of a young Hollywood scarlet. My comments-this was a great movie...it has the makings of becoming a classic, directed by Brian De Palma who also directed la confidential, he has an amazing take on this novel which is based on actual events in Hollywood...both Aaron and josh give you a breathe taking performances.....they make you feel like you are there with them as each one of there lives take different events to try and solve the murder, there are mant twist and turns so keep a sharp eye on the details because there are many little keys to help you solve the murder along with bucky and lee. |
