Back in the 1980's a fella by the name of Tom Selleck carved out quite a name for himself on the small screen as Magnum PI. During this time, he also had many Film roles come his way.

One of which was "An Innocent Man". Tom plays an Airline Maintenance Supervisor that has his life turned upside down, when he is mistakenly targeted as a Drug Dealer by crooked detectives, who have the wrong address. Selleck's character James Rainwood is accidentally shot by the detectives during a raid on his home. Instead of admitting their error the bad cops decide to frame Rainwood as a heroin dealer. He is convicted and sent away to a State Penitentiary where he is forced to learn how to survive Prison life. All this time his wife continues to fight for his innocence and the plot unfolds from there.

This movie is very much worth a look, as it is like a great Miami Vice episode, with Shawshank Redemption characters. Love, Murder, Court Room Drama, Friendship and of course REVENGE are all acted out by the great cast. This is one of Tom Selleck's best movies and you will recognize a lot of the supporting actors, as well.
